About this Blog

Meet my very 1st horse, Lazarus.
I couldn't wait for Santa anymore or ask one more time for a pony for my bday (after age 30 it got embarrassing). I took matters in my own hands and I finally decided to pick a pony that needed a new home. Laz found me as I contemplated with this idea. He was sweet yet very sassy, fresh off the track, Thoroughbred (OTTB).

SunLightSunFlowerBabes

Seize the moment
The sunflowers last week were in FULL bloom and I didn't know how long it would last, so.....
I pulled into some farmers field and took advantage of the beauty, I hope they dont mind

 First up, Mason!
 Tucked in the aisle way
"Mom..I think I hear the Farmer coming!!!"
"Oh, no it was a bird"
 Awww angel Masie!
My grey bearded 8 yr old
 Classic Regal profile
"MOM!!! I don't like this! These flowers are moving in on me!!!"
 "WOOF........stay awaYYY!"

They are beautiful, but in a field...there is a creepy element to them as well!
They turn, we swear, they TURN and follow you with their cheery faces
 BOOM
I 'borrowed' a flower from the Farmer, for Laz to enjoy
My sister requested I put one in his stall from her, but since he's not stalled, I thought tucking one in his halter would be just perfect
Yes, this spoiled Ponee gets Farmer's Market organic carrots with carrot tops as treats sometimes
"MMmnNommMMmmmmNommmms, I likz no being IR's, Mom"
GlamShots
Never mind the Puff de' forelock that a perm would be jealous of circa 1983
 PUFF

 "Lemmme eatz thiz thingeeee now"
 "Geemmmmeeezzz thizzzzzzz"

Sweet boy
He tolerates being a horsecrazee girl's first horse SO well

  8. Are you sure you're not in the Czech Republic? Because that place is AAALLLLL sunflowers!! I think they're the largest producers in the world, and driving through the countryside is field after field of sunflowers with the occasional field of *swoon* lavender. Gorgeous!

Your boys look adorable, as always. :-)
