About this Blog

Meet my very 1st horse, Lazarus.
I couldn't wait for Santa anymore or ask one more time for a pony for my bday (after age 30 it got embarrassing). I took matters in my own hands and I finally decided to pick a pony that needed a new home. Laz found me as I contemplated with this idea. He was sweet yet very sassy, fresh off the track, Thoroughbred (OTTB).

Baby barn

Wow...in the blink of a Bay horse's eye, 4 months have whizzed by.
Motherhood is crazy awesome, hard, inspiring, humbling and prideful. I found out I'm a lot stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. I also found out how lucky I am to have a husband who is an amazing Father and supportive families all around us.
Not that we haven't made mistakes or struggled..oh we have but came through on the other side smiling and hi-fiving! Teamwork baby.
Stone Anthony is just a fun, loving, happy precious baby boy.  We are enjoying him so much. I was never a baby person but being his Mom is joyful. No joke-I still don't 'ohhhhhh goo goo' over babies, but mine, I see hearts. It's intense love.
In his Laz onesie. Ugh. Scrumptious!!
I do think being a dog & horse momma prior to Stone prepared me for being a human momma.
Our pups, Mason and Pudgie are still such an important part of our family. I know it changes for some but not for us. I love how Stone is growing up with dog fur and sloppy licks on his toes and is now reaching out to pet them. Laz has been a gentle giant and Stone just today reached out to pet him.
Heart. Be. Still.
We actually want to move closer to the barn to enjoy more of this life. We want Stone to grow up with dirt under his feet but also to know the City life in our travels. I want him to want to be a gentle animal lover and to respect them.
In the meantime we visit Laz, love on him and enjoy our family growing. More hands to love on Laz.
