The day we decided to rescue him, Sept 2008 ..my Husband meeting Lazarus for the 1st time.
Grabbing him from a pasture full of dumped OTTB's...sad, I still think of that little grey filly below that was in love with Lazarus and what happened to her.
Native Dancer is Laz's great great grandfather

In Oct of 2009, Laz got very ill (colic with high fever) which lead into laminitis in his hind hooves.
I almost lost him several times in our critical battle but things finally took a turn for the better in March of 2010.
Thanks to the many caring suggestions of my blog readers, who advised me to research alternative options and that started by taking him barefoot, put on turnout, and started researching into holistic options.
