About this Blog

Meet my very 1st horse, Lazarus.
I couldn't wait for Santa anymore or ask one more time for a pony for my bday (after age 30 it got embarrassing). I took matters in my own hands and I finally decided to pick a pony that needed a new home. Laz found me as I contemplated with this idea. He was sweet yet very sassy, fresh off the track, Thoroughbred (OTTB).

Romper Room

Yesterday was so crappy out, all I did was groom Laz and Mini.
Laz was favoring his RR so I wasn't going to push it by riding, or working him in the arena where the footing is squishy but still icy right now.
So, he was just loved on and left to play.
Play they did!
They literally were hams and putting on a show. I could have made 10 of these videos for how much they play and romped around.
So sweet!

Listen for the Mini's delightful squeal.

The barn is a complete mud mess with all the snow melting, the rain, rain, rain, more snow..YUCK.
The barn is typically so mud free and there is nothing we can do other than wait for wind and sun to dry it out.
I know the sucking action of the deep mud sometimes puts Laz in a little discomfort but overall he seems ok.
Spring-get here!

  2. Those squeals...oh em gee! So cute!!

Ugh, mud season...I guess it leads to sun baked dirt/poop season, which is one season I wouldn't mind getting too!

  4. Adorable best friends! I love them so much. We have the mud too. I can't believe Mini has any white on him. Our boys look like Palominos right now.

  5. Juliette-b/c I had JUST finished grooming both of them before the videos. They got SO dirty within minutes again. Laz was gearing up for a roll when I was leaving ;)

  7. Too cute! I love watching my colt and donkey play together. Only there is a much bigger size difference between Laz and Keebler. :) I love the squeal. They are so cute.
