About this Blog

Meet my very 1st horse, Lazarus.
I couldn't wait for Santa anymore or ask one more time for a pony for my bday (after age 30 it got embarrassing). I took matters in my own hands and I finally decided to pick a pony that needed a new home. Laz found me as I contemplated with this idea. He was sweet yet very sassy, fresh off the track, Thoroughbred (OTTB).

My name is Lazarus and I'm addicted to barrel water

This past weekend, my husband and I held a garage sale.  Boy is that ever fun to do! It's hard sometimes getting rid of 'stuff' but when you see someone excited over it and know it's going to a good home, it's easy!  I made some decent money, cleared up my house and got a little tan
Mason and Pudgie were great helpers.  They welcomed 'clients' by licking their legs and wagging tails.
Pudge is so attached to his big Chocolate brother that it's heartbreakingly cute.  Pudgie was a rescue from a puppy mill (he was a Gigolo) and we laugh pretending that he tells Mason bad stories from the 'hood.
I know everyone thinks their dogs are the best, but really, these two are THE BEST. ;)

Today was ride #3 on Laz was a sweet calm boy tonight
I snapped this photo after our hour hand walk, and 15 minute bareback/halter ride
He was super blinky, yawning and totally a content monkey
At one point during our hand walk, he was soooo playful and kept snaking his neck and hopping and urging me to play, so I jogged while leading him and he seemed to like it.  He was super funny tonight and acted like a young, bright, soul.
He played with the flags, lifting them up and tossing the cone around.
This flag I'm sad to say, was chomped in half two seconds later like a hard candy.
I owe the BO a new flag
At the tarp obstacle, Laz LOVES, like LOVES to lick the barrels when there's water in it.  Being it was sprinkling on us the whole time tonight, it had gathered some water, so as a reward (yes...reward) I let him lick his barrels.
Whatever floats his boat.
Look at the deep lick!
Even Buck in the background thinks Laz is crazy
Laz is just very mouthy but I think it's adorable!!!
I love this picture below..he's so enamored with his barrel yet looking at me
I swear it wasn't that he was thirsty...he LOVES to lick these barrels!!
He stomps his legs and paws, like he wants to crawl in the water
"Ohhh Ma Cherie"
One more lick....Ok, were done
He did great tonight.
We worked on more leg yielding and walked thru some of the obstacles (including the car wash) and he only spooked once (and I stayed on by some miracle by the thigh death cling)
He got about 100 kisses on his soft wet muzzle tonight.

  10. Re: Nurtural bridles have a money back guarantee if you do not like the bridle so no worries about being stuck with it if you do not like it. Very few come back though. You can e-mail and ask Zoe. I know at some trade shows they do have a sale bin I have seen before of older styles but I don't think they have them online you would have to ask.

Too bad you were not closer I would let you borrow one of mine I have them in just about every style.
