About this Blog

Meet my very 1st horse, Lazarus.
I couldn't wait for Santa anymore or ask one more time for a pony for my bday (after age 30 it got embarrassing). I took matters in my own hands and I finally decided to pick a pony that needed a new home. Laz found me as I contemplated with this idea. He was sweet yet very sassy, fresh off the track, Thoroughbred (OTTB).

Hop on for a ride

These fun videos are from Sunday
Laz was so stellar, awesome, calm and happy.
I had hoped for a visit this evening but work came first and being we all know how much it costs to keep a happy horse....well, unfortunately, I had to chose to not see my boy this evening and work late instead.

Enjoy these videos and join on our little walk

"Oh sweet barrels, you taste so good"

Mason playing Frisbee while Laz gets to enjoy a bit of grazing
Love how calm he is and content

Chiropractor comes out tomorrow for his first ever adjustment (well, that I know of anyway) and I'm excited and nervous to hear what she has to say!

  1. Chiro is great - if you have a good person. If you do, he'll really enjoy it once he figures out what's going on. Sweet boy!

  2. How adorable are your boys:) Good luck with the Chiro...I've never used one (either horse or human, though I sure could use one for MY back I think!), but most people I know that have a good one swear by them and the difference they make in their horses.

  3. Awww, both your furry four-legged kids are looking quite cute!
I'm sure Laz is going to looooove the chiro! When Salem got adjusted, he absolutely HATED it at first, but that was because he had major back problems. After a while, he relaxed and really seemed to enjoy it. Of course, we would appreciate a full report and pics, lol. ;-)
What a lucky boy Laz is to have such an attentive mommy!

  6. Great videos! Laz is a champ! Not sure if I've mentioned it or not yet but I looove his mane! So jealous! Honey is now starting to rub out her already thin mane :(

That course looks like a lot of fun too! Nice to have something to keep his mind busy.
